Terms of Service

1. The service

Jobsite Nexus helps construction teams plan and track work: schedules, issue tracking, daily logs, RFIs, documents, photos and the people on a job. It is in an early release. We improve it continually, which means features can change, and occasionally one is removed; we will give reasonable notice before removing anything you rely on.

2. Your account

• Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
• Keep your password private and do not share your login. You are responsible for what happens under your account; tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
• Your company's administrators decide who is invited, what role they have and what they can see, and can remove access.

3. Your content

What you and your team put into Jobsite Nexus (records, photos, documents, comments) belongs to you or your company. You give us permission to store, copy, display and process it only as needed to run the service for you, including sending it to the people you share it with. You confirm you have the right to upload it, for example permission to use drawings and photos of people.

You can export or ask us to delete your content as described in the Privacy Policy. Keep your own copies of anything you are required by contract or law to retain.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Jobsite Nexus to:

• break the law or anyone else's rights;
• upload malware, or try to get around security, limits or permissions;
• access accounts, projects or data you have not been given access to;
• overload, scrape or copy the service, or resell it without our agreement;
• send spam or harassing messages through invitations, shared links or email.

We may suspend access that breaks these rules, and will tell you why where we can.

5. Fees

Jobsite Nexus is free during the beta. If we introduce fees we will tell you in advance, and nothing will be charged unless you agree to pay.

6. Your professional responsibility

Jobsite Nexus is a record-keeping and coordination tool. Schedules, dates, checklists and calculations in it depend on what is entered, and are not engineering, safety, legal or contractual advice. You remain responsible for site safety, code compliance, the quality of the work and the decisions you make on your projects.

7. Availability and backups

We work to keep the service available and your data safe, and we keep backups. We cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and there may be planned maintenance.

8. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Jobsite Nexus at any time, and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or end the service with at least [30] days' notice, during which you can export your content.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and [100 CAD/USD]. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Province/State] (placeholder, to be filled in), and disputes go to the courts there, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them locally.

11. Changes to these terms

We will update the date at the top when these terms change, and tell you in advance by email or in the app if a change is significant. Continuing to use Jobsite Nexus after a change takes effect means you accept it.
